Camp Grimes Hurricane Helene relief
In September 2024, Hurricane Helene made its way to the North Carolina mountains and Camp Grimes. Helene caused significant damage to the 1,100 acres that is home to the camp as well as several buildings on site. Mecklenburg County Council is working with professional staff and volunteers to get everything ready for summer camp 2025.
