Position Overview:
Under supervision to perform data entry, record keeping, and other duties as related to registration. Performance shall be of the quality to indicate a high degree of independence of action and responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Process all charters, new units, and additional enrollment through My.Scouting membership software.
- Prepare membership reports.
- Keep current and history files on all active and/or inactive units. Keep adult disclosure forms filed.
- Prepare charter renewal and new unit kits annually.
- Order & give out training knots.
- Keep record of Wood Badge certificates.
- Record all training courses in My.Scouting.
- Record all adult and youth awards in My.Scouting.
- Conduct criminal background checks on all adults.
- Backup the phone and front counter as needed.
- Maintain Registration Assistance spread sheet.
- Send all lifesaving, meritorious and heroism awards to national and record on database.
Education: High school diploma
Qualifications: Must be detail oriented. Some experience in data entry and knowledge of computers. Ability to communicate well with others, to perform clerical work of average difficulty, to work well with the public, to understand and carry out oral and written directions, to get along well with others.
