Event Details

The Klondike Derby is a Scouts BSA competition for younger scouts with a focus on Tenderfoot through First Class skills, and a leadership event for older scouts who are eligible to participate as “staff” members or Yukon Rangers. “Sled teams” pull a Klondike style dogsled on a course that passes through cities and stations named for cities in Alaska and perform tasks to accumulate points.


The Klondike Staff will be providing Dinner on Saturday evening in the Dining Hall. This is included with the registration cost.

All other meals should be arranged by each unit in your campsite.

Note; Each sled team/patrol will prepare a hot breakfast that will be judged, and a bag lunch that will carried with the sled team.

The registration fee is $18 per person (adults and scouts) includes Sat Dinner

$13 per person registration (adults and scouts - no Saturday Dinner)

Registration is a 2 part process:

Step 1

         Each unit should register and pay online at https://mccscouting.doubleknot.com/event/hn-klondike-derby-2020
Step 2

Each unit should then complete and email the Klondike Participant Roster to Brian.Pilgrim@live.com no later than 2/19/2020.
