Belk Scout Camp
April 24-26, 2020
Cub Scouts will have the chance to experience all the fun of Steampunk while learning about the nuts and bolts of how things work. Stations will include BB, Archery, Slingshots, Climbing Tower, Robot Building, Steampunk costume and the Victorian Internet along with other fun activities.
Each Pack must submit a registration form listing all scouts (by rank), siblings and adults who will be attending. Registrations and payment should be completed online. and the BSA Medical Form parts A and B for all campers should be turned in to the Council Office on or before Friday April 10th, 2020.
Registration is not complete until all medical forms are turned in.
Each Pack must supply a Pack Coordinator, who is a registered staff member in charge of making sure the needs of that Pack are met. The Pack Coordinator or a delegate must be at camp for the entire weekend and ready to serve as part of staff as needed.
Camping and Check-In
We will be camping in Cub Scout World, Boy Scout World and the Challenger Sites. Cub Scout World has platform tents available for use, but Scouts are encouraged to bring, setup, and sleep in their own tents with other scouts in preparation for Boy Scouts. If your Pack would prefer to camp in Boy Scout World or the Challenger Sites, you must bring your own tents and indicate this on your registration form. Camp site assignments will be provided prior to camp based on unit needs. Check-In will be at the Welcome Center at the front gate. There will be no parking in Cub World; gear transport will be available and help will be provided.
All vehicles MUST be parked in an approved parking area. Parking will be available in the Front Field, the Dining Hall lot, the Pecan Grove field, and there will be limited spaces available in the LDC parking area. Trailers can be parked /dropped out front of sites in Boy Scout World and in the Welcome Center parking lot. The vehicles for these trailers must be parked in an approved parking area.
Saturday breakfast, and dinner will be prepared and served in the dining hall. Saturday lunch will be brought out to the designated stations for the Dens. Packs will be expected to prepare Sunday breakfast in their campsites-it is recommended to keep this simple.
Class A Uniforms
Please bring. Will indicate in the camp schedule when Class A uniforms are expected.

Boy Scouts who are 14 years of age and are at least First Class rank are encouraged to volunteer as Camp Staff. ALL Boy Scouts interested in being part of staff should email the Camp Director. If there are Scouts under the age of 14 who are interested please contact the Camp Director. Please provide a recommendation from your Senior Patrol Leader or Scoutmaster.
