MCC Fishing Proudly Offers the BSA Angling Educator Course Saturday August 19, 2023
Fishing is one of the most popular youth activities. It is also a great way to recruit new scouts and retain the scouts you have.
The BSA Angling Educator course will teach you everything you need to know to plan and run a fishing event.
The program is designed to give a Scouter who has never fished before (or recently) the skills and knowledge to go to a pond and be successful quickly. It is designed to teach you how to teach Cubs and Scouts to fish, and how to host a fishing event.
Date: Saturday August 19, 2023
Place: Belk Scout Camp Fishing Center
Time: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Cost: $5.00
Participants: Limited to 30 Adults
Free catch and release fishing on Lake BB Parker until 2:00 p.m. No fishing license is required.
Bring your own lunch and beverage. Participants finishing the course will receive a BSA Angling Educator patch.
