2024 Council Webeloree

Who: All registered Mecklenburg County Council Webelos Scouts.
When: Friday November 1st 6 PM – Sunday November 3rd 11AM.
Where: Belk Scout Camp, 9408 Belt Road, Midland, NC
Cost: $25.00 per Scout, $15.00 per Leader or Adult.

Welcome all Knights of the Roundtable to our Webeloree! We are looking forward to starting your training as a Belk Knight! Here we can storm the castle, practice our range accuracy, and see how trebuchets work!

Each Pack must submit a registration form listing all Webelos and Adults who will be attending. Registration and payment should be submitted through Tentaroo on or before Friday October 25, 2024.

 All Patrols must have a minimum of two leaders. One of these leaders must be 21 years of age and a registered scout leader. 

Meals: Each Pack will be responsible for their own meals for the weekend, we will provide lunch. We are using this approach to reduce the cost of the WebelosRee. You should plan for Saturday breakfast and dinner and Sunday breakfast. We encourage you to let the scouts help with the meal planning prior to camp and, as much as possible, do the cooking for the weekend. We suggest planning for 30 minutes of cooking time and 30 minutes to eat for breakfast and 45 minutes of cooking time and 30 minutes to eat for dinner. 

Camping: We will be camping in Cub Scout World and Scout World. Cub Scout World has platform tents available for use, but Scouts are encouraged to bring, setup, and sleep in their own tents in preparation for Scouting BSA. If your Pack would prefer to camp in Boy Scout World, you must bring your own tents and indicate this on your registration form. Please keep in mind that Boy Scouts 1-5 and Adirondacks 1&2 are not available this year. Camp site assignments will be provided prior to camp.

Scouts BSA: Scouts who are 14 years of age and are First Class rank are encouraged to volunteer as Camp Staff.
