Mecklenburg County Council will offer an Aviation Merit Badge course on Saturday, January 31, 2026, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at

The registration fee covers the purchase of a drone that Scouts will learn to fly and will own.

All Scouts, with consent of a parent or guardian, will have the option to take a 15 minute airplane flight after the class. The flight is not required for completion of the merit badge.
