Wilderness First Aid Training

Mecklenburg County Council will be holding upcoming classes for Wilderness First Aid. Since the classes are limited to availability, the following information will need to be considered when signing up for these classes:

  1. Cost of the class is $95, which is non-refundable. If you cancel for a session, you will forfeit your money.

  2. Registration for ALL classes will be available 90 days prior to the class starting.

  3. Class size is limited to 10 people per class. First come, first serve will be able to take the class. 
    Classes may be cancelled if there are not at least 6 people signed up.

  4. All classes will be held at Belk Scout Camp.

  5. You MUST have a current CPR/AED certification to attend the class and you MUST have this prior to the start of class.
    *** Please note that Boy Scouts of America does not accept online only training for CPR/AED. It does accept online training with follow-up hands-on training. The hands-on training has to be completed prior to the start of the Wilderness First Aid Training ***

  6. Food is NOT provided as part of the class.

  7. Overnight camping is available.

  8. Certification is valid for 2 years.

  9. You must be present for all sessions to be certified.
