     Closed Sundays & major holidays


Daily Responsibilities include:

Customer Service:
Communication with customers via telephone, email, and in store
Stocking
Cleaning/Straightening store areas
Fulfilling online orders
Using point of sale system to complete transactions

Assisting with Administrative Duties:
Checking in membership applications, advancement reports, and other documents
Processing registration or fundraising tenders
Filing


Customer Service can look a little different here that most other stores where you may shop.
Many customers who come to us are brand new to Scouting or are shopping for someone else who is involved in the program.  That's where we come in.  One of the most common things we hear from people is "they told me to come talk to the people at the Scout Shop and they would help me!"  We want to keep that reputation.  We are uniform experts and many people's first face they see in Scouting.  Our goal is to make sure every customer that comes through our door leaves knowing that a Scout is HELPFUL.
