We are thrilled to invite you to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department Law Enforcement Explorers Open House on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 6:30 PM at the Charlotte Police and Fire Training Academy (1770 Shopton Road, Charlotte, NC 28217).

The CMPD Law Enforcement Exploring Program meets on the first and third Thursday of each month.

This is your opportunity to step into the world of law enforcement alongside Charlotte's finest. During the Open House, you'll:

• Meet CMPD officers and Explorer Advisors

• Learn what it takes to become a Law Enforcement Explorer

• Discover hands-on training, leadership development, competitions, community service, and ride-along opportunities

• Ask questions about the program and upcoming activities

• Take your first step toward an exciting future in public safety
