The Position Specific Training Course for Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters will be taught at CPCC’s North Campus located at 11930 Verhoeff Drive (which is located between Highway 21 and Highway 115 in Huntersville) starting Thursday night, October 28th and continuing on Friday night, October 29th and concluding on Thursday night, November 4th from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm each night [i.e. this course will take all three (3) evenings to complete].

In order to be Trained to Position and have the right to wear the Trained patch on your uniform, you must take Fast Start for your position (available online), This is Scouting (available only online), and Youth Protection, (also available online) in addition to the Position Specific Training Course for your position. (See the back of the sheet for a brief description of these Courses.) A link is provided at www.mcctraining.org under Online Training Courses for all of these online courses. You are highly encouraged to take all of these online courses before attending your Position Specific Training as they will make your Position Specific Training more meaningful and enjoyable.
