On February 8, 2010 Scouts from all 100 counties across the state gathered in Raleigh to make a report to our Governor, Beverly Perdue and her husband, Bob Eaves. Our council was represented by Mecklenburg County Scouts Thor Draper, our Catawba OA Lodge Chief and member of Troop 148, Ben and Will Ritchie of Pack 11. Each county committed to 1000 community service hours.

Patch Program

100th Anniversary Centennial Patch Program

2010 is a special time to be a Scout or a Scout Leader. This is a great time to commemorate the Scouting year by participating in the 100th Anniversary Patch Program. There is a series of limited edition patches that will highlight some of the great things that happen this year and also serve as priceless collectors items for your collection. Each in the series has historical significance for our council. Most of these patches will be issued on a pre-order basis and quantities will be limited. Part of the proceeds will help offset the cost of some of the 100th Anniversary Program. Check out the the link to these patches and place your order today!
