Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 7, 2016 between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM for the 2017 National Scout Jamboree RALLY being held at the Mecklenburg County Council Service Center (1410 E. 7th Street, Charlotte). The purpose of the rally is to provide information to youth and adults interested in attending this amazing event. The open house format will include short presentations in addition to opportunities to speak directly with leaders from past Jamborees. The Council is sending 4 Boy Scout troops and 2 Venturing patrols to The Summit, the permanent home of the National Scout Jamboree. Plus, there are numerous opportunities for adults to serve on staff.

As part of the Jamboree RALLY please come help us design the patches to be worn and traded at the Jamboree. This is an important part of the Jamboree and we want your ideas.

In the meantime, visit the Council’s website or go to
www.bsajamboree.org for more information.
