DESCRIPTION:\nOn May 11, 2013, the Mecklenburg County Council Training Committee will provide the following training courses for Adult Leaders. Scoutmaster Specific (all day)\n            ·         BALOO (all day)\n            ·         Adult Venturing Leader Specific (all day)\n            ·         Climbing Instructor (all day)\n            ·         Leave No Trace Awareness (4 hours)\n            ·         CPR Training (4 hours)\n            \n            ·         Den Chief Training (6 hours) - Full\n            \n            \n            \n            ·         Youth Protection Training (2 hours)\n            ·         Eagle Rank Mechanics (2 hours)\n            ·         Merit Badge Counselor Training (2 hours)\n            ·         Introduction to Cub Scouting/How We Have Fun (This session is only required for new Cub Scout leaders or leaders who have not previously taken a Cub Leader Specific course)\n            \n        \n        \n            \n             \n            \n            \n             \n            \n            \n             \n            \n        \n        \n            \n            10:00 am\n            \n            \n            ·         Troop Committee Challenge (2 hours)\n            ·         Cubmaster Training (2 hours)\n            ·         Pack Committee Training (2 hours)\n            ·         Pack Trainer Training (2 hours)\n            \n            \n            ·         Conducting Boards of Review (2 hours)\n            ·         Tiger Cub Den Leader Training (2 hours)\n            ·         Cub Scout Den Leader Training (2 hours)\n            ·         Webelos Den Leader Training (2 hours)\n            ·         Merit Badge Counselor Training (2 hours)\n            \n        \n        \n            \n             \n            \n            \n             \n            \n            \n             \n            \n        \n        \n            \n            1:00 pm\n            \n            \n            \n            ·         CPR Training (4 hours)\n            ·         Train the Trainer (4 hours)\n            \n            \n            \n            ·         Eagle Scout Service Project (2 hours)\n            \n        \n        \n             \n             \n             \n        \n        \n            \n            \n            3:00 pm\n            \n            \n            \n            ·         Working with Scouts with Disabilities (2 hours)\n            \n             \n        \n    \n\n\nThere is no charge for attending these courses, except for Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster Training, BALOO, Adult Venturing Leader Basic Training and Climbing Instructor, which will all have a $15.00 charge and will include lunch, Den Chief Training which will have a $10.00 charge and will include lunch, and CPR Training which will have a $10.00 charge for certification.\nQuestions about these training courses should be directed to Rick Jensen, Etowah Training Chairman, at scouterrj@gmail.com.\n \nOnline registration is closed.
